In the back round are Fagus sylvatica purpurea pendula (purple fountain), Cedrus atlantica glauca (blue atlas cedar), and Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Nana' (dwarf hinoki cypress). Flowering are Hosta sieboldiana 'Elegans' in white. Also the annuals impatiens and ageratum.
